AikidoLeicester.co.uk is run by members of the Leicester Branch of Shin Gi Tai Aikido (our parent association) so that we have a place to tell you about the great Aikido club we belong to and give you an opportunity to find out what this Aikido martial art thing is all about.

Dr Neil Dixon (6th Dan Shin Gi Tai Aikido and 6th Dan Dai Nippon Butoku Kai)

We are very fortunate in having an excellent teacher who has over 20 years of training in Aikido and having attained 6th Dan in Shin Gi Tai has recently been awarded 6th Dan in Kyoto, Japan, by the renowned All Japan martial arts association, the Dai Nippon Butoku Kai. Dr Neil Dixon is well known in Aikido circles as a gentle giant and although he is taller, stronger and bigger than most people his techniques are always controlled, effortless and expertly blending with his oponents.  ...
